If you love musical theater, then there's no doubt that the Broadway in Richmond series includes something exciting for you to look forward to in 2024. The 2023-24 Broadway in Richmond series kicked off at the end of last year with 3 great shows, and there's still a diverse schedule of 4 performances for you to enjoy in the first half of 2024. It's all held at the Altria Theater, with both season subscriptions and group packages available in addition to tickets for individual shows.
There's still plenty to enjoy in early 2024. In February, theatergoers can look forward to To Killing A Mockingbird, which is up next from February 27 – March 3, 2024, bringing the beloved novel to the stage.
Tina, the fantastic Tina Turner musical, will be staged April 2–7, 2024, highlighting the raw energy, creativity, and talent that shaped one of music's biggest stars. The final show of the 2023-24 series will be Beetlejuice, which effortlessly blends the quirky, comedic, and spooky into one unforgettable package. If the pattern from prior years continues, you can also expect more (yet-to-be-announced) shows at the end of the year once the schedule for the 2024-25 Broadway in Richmond series is revealed.

Have you been looking for fun ways to get the kids excited about going to the theater? The tale of Peter and the Wolf, presented by the Richmond Symphony, is a vibrant performance of Profokiev's classic tale that the whole family will love. The tale will be told by Michael Boudewyns of Really Inventive Stuff, with the orchestra conducted by Chia-Hsuan Lin. Bring the whole family for the show at the Carpenter Theatre, with an afternoon performance scheduled for March 2, 2024.
