May Highlight: Greek Food Festival
Greek Food Festival – the best way to start summer with a bit of "Opa!" enthusiasm. Recently voted as Richmond's Best Food Festival in Style Weekly, the Greek Food Festival celebrates classic Greek cuisine and culture with all sorts of folks right in the Carytown neighborhood.

June Highlights: Broad Apetit, Village Vibe, Powhatan Music Festival
Broad Apetit – also known as the foodie's must-attend event, this food festival returns for its 12th year with some of Richmond's favorite restaurants, food trucks and vendors dishing up $3 sample plates.

Village Vibe with The Flashback Band – this annual concert event is sure to delight Powhatan people and beyond. With concerts going on all summer long in the Village Meadow, the community of Powhatan is rocking out monthly, especially in June with the Flashback Band. Go join our friends for music, brews, food, and raffles that benefit the community and local organizations.

Powhatan Music Festival – one day of awesome musical talent centered around a family friendly festival environment. All types of music will be played – rock, blues, R&B, funk, jazz, and more. July Highlights: Henrico County's July 4th Celebration, Music For Massey, International Disc Sport Championships
Henrico County's July 4th Celebration – Red, White, and Lights in Dorey Park! Parks in Henrico County are great, and Dorey Park is an excellent example. The largest park in all of Henrico is Dorey Park, making it perfect for Independence Day celebrations. Join Richmond Symphony's Big Tent for an evening of community fun on July 4.

International Disc Sport Championships – if you love alternative sports, trying new things, or throwing around a frisbee, this is for you! You may have seen a casual game of frisbee before, but nothing like this. Check out international champs of disc sports throwing and showing their stuff at local parks all around Richmond on the week of July 8 - 13.

Music For Massey – a fundraiser for VCU Massey Cancer Center, taking place at Maymont! For the past 13 years, Napier Realtors ERA has raised over $222,000 for pediatric cancer research thanks to community involvement with this fun, Americana-focused concert series. Join us this year for performances from Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers and Amos Lee. There are still sponsorship spots available for other local businesses interested in supporting pediatric cancer research.

August Highlights: Richmond Jazz Fest, Innsbrook Afterhours
Innsbrook Afterhours – if you're looking at homes in Henrico, you need to know about Innsbrook Afterhours! This outdoor concert series is a classic Richmond event, bringing internationally acclaimed artists to our suburbs for 34 years. In August, catch artists like Chris Young, Boyz II Men, and Brett Young in Glen Allen, Virginia.
