Kings Dominion Star Spangled Celebration

Kings Dominion Celebration America's birthday is right around the corner, and as usual, we're getting ready to throw her quite a party here in Virginia. Located in Doswell, Virginia--just 25 minutes north of Richmond--Kings Dominion is Virginia's premier amusement park, and our real estate agents are planning to observe the 4th of July in style with the Star Spangled Celebration at Kings Dominion!

Celebrate Independence at Kings Dominion June 30 - July 4

The Star Spangled Celebration will find Kings Dominion decked out in red white and blue, with lots of special events along with all the rides and games you love. The celebration stretches all the way from June 30 to July 4, and there are plenty of reasons to make a visit to Kings Dominion part of your annual Independence Day tradition:

Fantastic musical performances from local military bands
Dazzling firework shows
A huge variety of water park and theme park rides
Opportunities to get your picture taken with Uncle Sam

Best of all, Kings Dominion is honoring service members by offering FREE admission for active and retired military during the Star Spangled Celebration. All veterans with honorable or medical discharge will also be able to get in for free, and discount tickets are available for friends and family members.

Fun All Summer Long

Whether you visit Kings Dominion during the Star Spangled Celebration or are planning a trip later in the summer, you can count on enjoying an amazing variety of rides at the greatest theme park in the state. Theme park rides range from the hair-raising Intimidator 305 – tallest, fastest and most thrilling roller coaster on the East Coast – to the chill, kid-friendly (and ever-expanding) Planet Snoopy.

Of course, with it being summertime, there's a good chance you'll want to head straight for Soak City, a 20-acre water park that has everything you need to cool off and experience a few thrills on a hot day. Admission to the water park is included with all Kings Dominion tickets. Experience two massive wave pools, extreme water slides including a 65-foot tall slide tower, an interactive splash pad for kids, and much more.
